What is a Park Model Cabin?
A Park Model Cabin is a finished cabin on a trailer frame. Turn-Key! It’s basically like a glorified mobile home. Everything is done for you from the plumbing to the furniture. It is truly a complete package. (click to see the benefits of a park model cabin)
Miller’s Cabins & Decks also offers reclaimed wood options in some of our products. The history behind each piece of wood is very unique. We are so thrilled to be able to recycle what once was perhaps Grandma and Grandpa’s old barn, smokehouse or numerous other types of outbuildings. Each piece of reclaimed wood offers one-of-a-kind character for your new portable cabin. And don’t be concerned about shrinkage or bugs. Our reclaimed wood is temperature controlled kiln-dried. This is a process that involves drying out the wood removing the wood’s moisture in a kiln. This prevents shrinking ensuring the wood remains consistent size even after installation. After the wood has been dried, the temperature is raised to 130 plus degrees to kill any insects and bugs that might be in the wood. After all, no one wants bugs!
